PRESIDENT

Ramtin is an award-winning structural engineer and is the Founder and President of The Ramtin Group (TRG).

Previously, Ramtin was one of two Partners and a Principal Engineer at one of the Tri-State area’s premier structural engineering firms where he garnered the attention of a diverse group of clients for his team’s efficient and easily constructible structures, where there were little to no structural related change orders.

Ramtin’s bold vision, and operational expertise helped construct much of the internal infrastructure, and core philosophies that would allow his previous firm’s detailed approach to be systematically carried out across all project types, all the while instilling a culture of personal development and technical acumen, one heavily focused on technical and professional mentorship.

Under Ramtin’s leadership, the firm became known as a place to be for the young and seasoned engineers alike, and a place deeply interested in its employee’s personal and professional success stories, which lead to a team of professionals that was laser focused on the client’s success on each and every project.

Consequently, the firm experience a stable yet rapid growth, experiencing its best financial years, each and every year, while Ramtin was a Partner at the firm. In 2021, the firm was ranked 82nd on the Zweig Group Hot Firm list, which recognizes the 100 fastest-growing AEC firms in the United States and Canada.

After a long and very successful Partnership, Ramtin left his previous firm to continue his vision in the form of a new company founded on the principles he believes in most: Integrity, transparency, trust, quality, respect and responsiveness.

He has provided formal and informal mentorship to the younger engineers in the Tri-state area for over a decade. He helped grow the Young Members Group of the Delaware Valley Association of Structural Engineers (DVASE YMG) and served as its Chair. Ramtin continues his mentorship efforts outside of the firm by continuously making himself available to the younger engineering community in a professional advisory role.

Ramtin currently serves on the Executive Board of the Eastern Chapter of Structural Engineering Association of Pennsylvania, known as DVASE and is its current President-Elect.

EXPERIENCE

Ramtin has been involved as a Principal in Charge, project manager and lead designer for projects such as: multistory office complexes, K-12 and higher education facilities, municipal buildings, large-scale mixed-use buildings, large-scale multi-family buildings, industrial facilities, large retail centers, shopping malls, multi-story townhome complexes and luxury single family homes.

In addition to the design of new structures, he been involved with hundreds of structural renovations, historical renovations, retrofits, and rehabilitation projects in retail, commercial, industrial and residential structures, with design experience in structural steel, wood, concrete, masonry, cold formed metal framing, aluminum, structural glass and composite materials and is well versed in seismic design, hurricane prone regions, and flood design.

He has prepared numerous structural health assessments, forensic, fire damage, due-diligence, and other technical studies and reports. His experience also includes “Construction Engineering” where he has designed, documented and overseen underpinning, shoring, bracing and construction sequencing projects.
